COVID-19

Updated: Nov 7, 2020

During these unprecedented times we believe it is important to offer the reassurance that all of the team at BeCaredFor are taking the necessary precautions to protect vulnerable people from Coronavirus.

As is a basic requirement of a job in personal care no matter, all staff are consistently and thoroughly cleaning their hands and using hand sanitiser, particularly between clients. All staff must wear a mask, disposable apron, (and gloves when essential) as directed to by the government and SAGE.

If any of our staff contract the virus or have been in close contact with someone who has the virus, then they are told to isolate and anyone who could be at risk is informed immediately.

If you suspect that a client or family member has the virus please be sure to contact us immediately so that we can do what is necessary to keep everyone safe, as quickly as possible. By now most are aware of the procedures: Call 111, isolate, track and trace, etc.

As we are fast approaching the winter months there is always an added strain on our workforce due to an increase in illness for both clients and staff. This, we can only imagine, will be made more difficult by Coronavirus. We as a team promise to ensure that the well-being of all is protected no matter what.

We are actively encouraging people to take tests if they believe they have symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who does. It is of upmost importance that we help to control the virus, regardless of staff taking time off to isolate. We are a strong team of selfless careers who will put in the extra work and hours to support their team members and ensure that all care can be provided without compromise.

Of course these are uncertain times and we cannot imagine all scenarios, but rest assured, there are plans in place to protect our clients and staff, at all costs.
